Warriors announce new Official Betting Partner

Wigan Warriors today announced a new one year partnership with 188BET as the club’s Official Betting Partner for the 2010 season.  The one year partnership will see the 188BET logo on the home and away shirt sleeve of the first team for all games in the 2010 season.  188BET will also offering the match day betting services to fans at the DW Stadium as well as an on-line betting service for Warriors supporters. The announcement represents 188BET’s first sponsorship agreement in Rugby League and follows a 12 month period that has seen the company comprehensively establish itself in English sport. Speaking about the new partnership Chief Executive Mick Hogan commented, “188BET are already establishing themselves as a big name in professional team sports being principal sponsor with Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers as well as partner deals with Chelsea, Aston Villa, Liverpool and London Wasps RFC.  We are delighted that they have now extended their support to Wigan Warriors for 2010.  Having listened to their future plans regarding sports sponsorship we are excited to be in partnership with them for the forthcoming season.” Andy Scott CEO of 188BET said, “Having already developed a strong relationship with Wigan Athletic FC the company was keen to also associate itself with Wigan Warriors.  The Club is a likeminded and progressive organisation with similar ambitious plans for the future that will allow 188BET to enter into a new sporting sector.
